I’ve been going to Outwood for a number of months and absolutely love the workshop. I had no experience or skills in woodwork but in this short time I have been able to make a number of different things with the help and support of Simon. I find everyone who attends really welcoming and it’s relaxing and therapeutic to be learning something new.
Simon is kind and patient, and I can ask as many questions as I need without feeling silly. It also gives me a sense of achievement each time I’ve finished something and knowing my skills are improving. Some bits I’ve given to family and others have been sold to further support Outwood. It boosts my wellbeing to go each week and it’s definitely a treasured sanctuary in Grantham.
