We booked a Big Green Egg course and were really impressed. Ross and his team are so passionate and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot but overall the beauty of the experience was the beautiful setting overlooking Padstow, Ross's entertaining stories and his enthusiasm for good, sustainable food and local community. Everything was sourced hyper-locally - not so much 'food miles' as 'food metres'! We were well looked after, well fed, entertained and educated. A fun, informative foodie day spent with a cast of Cornish food heroes.

The definition of "Farm to Table" eating, because the table is actually on the farm!! Ross served a selection of amazingly cooked dishes, mostly veggie and sympathetic to my groups dietary requirements.

Not only was everything absolutely delicious....this guy knows how to cook!...we were actually surrounded by the very plants that were on our plate!

I've never experienced a dining experience quite like it, and I wish it was the norm.

I attended the Veg Gardening day course in June and it was brilliant. Ross is a great teacher and really generous with his knowledge. The course suits all level of growers; we had new gardeners right through to those growing in a polytunnel and we all loved it. I learned lots of things that I could put into practice straight away, and I have been cracking on with successional sowing and early harvesting some baby veg already. The setting is amazing, and Ross and Gemma cooked a delicious lunch which we ate outside over looking the incredible views. Highly recommended!

Discovered the kitchen garden after relocating. I Have always used seasonal
Ingredients being daughter of a baking/catering parents.
I feel we should eat what’s in season where we live and here there’s plenty
along with any info we require, handwritten notes with experimental veg and verbal whenever needed.
The taste, quality and price are representative of the quality. If children were introduced to these tastes they all would enjoy vegetables!!Thank you

Saw this place featured on a Rick Stein programme so thought we'd take a trip. Lovely fresh produce with a reasonable price tag (not cheap like a Supermarket) but what you would expect to pay. Honesty box payment scheme.
