Excellent well run local station. Ticket office staff are brilliant, one has even painted the station subway with artwork making it special. Toilets & waiting room are only open during staffing hours, generally mornings, but are very clean & well kept.

The station building itself externally is a bit run down and it suffers from the loss of the fast platforms. Step free access London bound, but the step up onto the trains is a bit high. Didcot bound it's easy to carry onto Goring & use the lifts for a quick connection back to Pangbourne as that platform has steps.

It's nice that the station still retains it's GWR heritage with the original station buildings however it doesn't offer much beyond that outside of a ticket office and toilets.

No step free access to the Didcot/Oxford bound platform which can be annoying. Trains stop here every half hour and at the very least, the ticket office and toilets were quite clean and presentable.

13:55, office locked, mens toilets locked. Why isn’t there access to a public restroom. This is a common occurrence here. Very poor customer service

Just cycled along the Thames from Reading to Pangbourne. You can cycle next to the Thames most of the way and than at Purley on Thames i think you have to come off the Thames path and just take road to Pangbourne
