I want to express my deepest appreciation for the exceptional work done by our case manager, Ms. Wendy. Her patience, professionalism, business acumen, patient care, and management skills were truly top of the line throughout a very challenging case.

Despite the outcome for my client being unfavorable due to the slow or lack of response from Loyola University Medical Center, which was under no obligation to provide care because it was out of network, this was in no way a reflection on Ms. Wendy's efforts. She handled the situation with remarkable dedication and tenacity.

Ms. Wendy worked tirelessly, demonstrating an extraordinary level of commitment and care. Her ability to manage complex and difficult circumstances with such professionalism and compassion was incredibly reassuring. She made sure to explore every possible avenue and remained a steadfast advocate for my client.

I highly commend Ms. Wendy for her exceptional service and unwavering support. She is a true asset to her profession, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of an outstanding case manager.

I got this award 1/04/2024. So far 10 dollars has been paid. Had plenty of denied claims. I thought they paid office visits but because I get blood work done same day not allowed. Went through chemo they paid nothing. They paid one prescription so far. Waiting to see if I get reimbursed for health insurance payments . I'm so frustrated but I will keep trying. I was awarded 11,000 dollars for my breast cancer. Will keep you posted on this. Going through radiation now they don't pay for. Don't pay for c scans bone scans dbl. Mastectomy biopsy mammogram. Bills keep piling up. Just got a voicemail from paf. They are paying office visits for me now. Yeah so happy ?. Thank you now I can breathe a little.

Terrible service. The outdated website is dysfunctional, making it impossible to download notifications and correspondence. PDF download links result in empty HTML files, which are necessary for submitting claims. As a result, claims are denied due to missing files. The system seems designed to withhold government funds and deny assistance to those in urgent need.

I just started working with PAF two days ago and have already done my screening and got my case manager assigned the same day!

Their staff is really friendly on the phone and offered comprehensive information about the program and how it works. She was also able to help me understand what type of assistance my case worker can help me with. I’m deeply appreciative and look forward to working with them!

Patient Advocate Foundation is TRULY the BEST! – The Case Manager-Wendy, whom I corresponded with, went “above and beyond” to research resources for me. She was genuinely compassionate of my diagnosed condition, and incredibly helpful with my pre- & post surgery planning. Wendy provided amazing assistance along with answers to all my questions over the course of multiple weeks. Thank you!

I worked with the organization for seven weeks and received nothing but aggravation.
There is no need for another organization the pushes paper and pens around but doesn’t actually help the cancer patient.
When your sick, you don’t need email links to apply for services. You need the advocate to actually do the work they’re being paid to do which in all honesty I’m not sure what that is.

I feel like PAF is kind of hit or miss. Maybe their case load is ridiculously high or something. Had a single phone call with one case manager and she was excellent, got some results, and then I got ghosted. Everything she did was effectively wiped away when she vanished. I've left multiple messages and I never got the email I was promised.

Give it a shot and hope you aren't wasting your time.

Edit: They contacted me after this review and we're super helpful. Unfortunately, I had already spent significant time figuring this out on my own. I ended up hiring a private patient advocate who was absolutely wonderful. PAF did assist with some paperwork and frequent checkups.
