Invited to this park today which is 15 minutes from Shifnal after my friend found it during lockdown. Fantastic area that has a play park for all ages, large green space to play games, exercise area, tennis court with a netball hop, Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and a small skate park.

Within the park there is plenty of benches and picnic tables and a large enough space to walk your dog on the lead.

Pains me to only give it 4 out of 5 however, there is no public toilets so you have to use the pub and it would benefit from a bike track.

Will definitely be back again.

I travelled over to Pattingham yesterday for the Scarecrow Festival and enjoyed an excellent 3 hours of entertainment.
There were 3 routes to follow, I only managed one, the red route, the blue and purple routes had to be missed. Approaching Pattingham we were diverted into a farmers field which was a designated parking area. The control of the parking was looked after by the loc3al army cadets, who did an absolutely brilliant job of controlling road traffic to allow visitors to cross the road safely, parking cars etc.. A short walk along the edge of fields, with superb views led us to the Village Hall and the start point for the various scarecrow routes. A guide and contribution to funds of £3 saw us up and running. The range and quality of the scarecrows was brilliant and a credit to all taking part.
At the Village Hall there was seating with tables and tea and cakes available.
The festival was really well organised and a credit to all.
Pattingham certainly has lots of amenities for the residents, tennis courts, basketball courts, skateboarding ramp, play areas for the children.

Hire charges are very reasonable, and the building and facilities are everything you need to throw a good party! The lady taking our booking was so helpful, always checking we have everything we need in advance of the day. If we need to host around 120 people in future, we'll happily choose this hall again.
