Visited today roughly 11am for a severe double ear infection. The service was fine, no complaints there, except I was told 111 will call me within 4 hours to get a prescription for steroid drops.

About 6 hours later I called 111 to chase and theyve had no reference to my visit and wouldn't have called me if I weren't to have chased. I had to start the process again with them.

So essentially i've spent all day in agony and i'm no better off.

I don't know what's happened there but it's poor.

Had an utterly appalling experience with the midwifery service. I started to miscarry on Boxing Day 2024, called the relevant dept at Paulton Memorial hospital where the person I spoke to had no people skills or emotional intelligence and told me there was "nothing (they) could do" and to go to a&e. On Boxing Day. So I decided to go through it myself at home. Twelve hours later I had lost so much blood due to complications that I was in an ambulance and in surgery less than two hours after I was admitted. I should have been offered counselling but there was no follow up from the midwifery service and I was left completely alone to deal with the aftermath and even had to call to cancel my next scan, because I continued to get reminders even though I’d informed them what had happened.
Made a traumatic experience so much worse, if you have access to choose another midwifery service as someone having a baby, highly recommend choosing somewhere else.

13th June 2024 Nursing staff was nice but the radiographer was VERY rude! I've got a bad back was on a walking stick. My son injured his ankle so unfortunately we couldn't move quickly when his name was called. She spoke quite at first call. Second call she told my son "his name and COME ON" and CLAPPED HER HANDS AT HIM.
I wasn't happy I asked her not to clap her hands at my son. The xray was done and she apologise for doing it and told me she was doing it to herself. REALLY funny how she clapped her hands right after calling his name!!
Wouldn't be the first time some staff has been rude to us! At Paulton hospital

Went to the Minor Injuries Unit with my daughter, we were seen quickly and professionally, all good. Much better than having to go to A&E for something minor.
