They have the worst maintenance team in the country. The female employees who handle service calls are arrogant, condescending, and impolite, treating customers like they are beneath them. I had a water leakage problem that affected everything in my home. I expected them to prioritize it, but they showed no concern at all. When I explained the urgency to one of the female employees, I was overwhelmed as the water had spread from the top floor bathroom to the ceiling, threatening to enter my children's room. However, she dismissed me as if I didn't understand, claiming she had explained her point of view. She even hung up on me and refused to let me speak to her manager. This behavior is unacceptable. They have failed in their duty of maintenance. Instead of promptly addressing the leak, they could face extensive repairs to the house's floors, roof, and other parts if they get too late. It would have been wiser to fix the problem when it was small, rather than letting it escalate into a costly issue. Their approach to business is truly poor

The worst staff ever and so rude, they don’t care to help you at all, I am pregnant and I asked them to find me a 2 bedroom house as I live in the 4th floor and it’s a very small house a 1 bedroom house, and I can’t be able to go up and down the stairs with the baby and food shopping etc, and they don’t even care, one of them lies to me and the other says you don’t need a 2 bedroom house like if they are paying for it, how I don’t need a 2 bedroom house while I am having a baby, and I have no space for a baby room either for her bed, clothes, changing room, and my, and husbands clothes either, I don’t understand what kind of a company is this… they also broke the wall in the toilet and the kitchen because of a false racist neighbour that lied and told them that something is liking in her ceiling, which came up that was false and they broke it and they never came to fix it anymore, there was rats and spiders coming inside and I have been living like this for 6 years. Begging them each month and year to come and fix it, begging them each year to change my house too, I had to use a tape in the wall to cover it somehow. I wish I can find a different company that are willing to help as I am not living here for free, I am paying all of my bills. I don’t believe we deserve such an arrogant company and such a terrible customer service.

I have my neighbour down stairs that has flooding for years coming through the electrics. Peabody ignored.
Eventually her ceiling collapsed. They decamped her. It's over 1 year now and they haven't done the repairs. Now her second ceiling is collapsing. Peabody has unqualified 'surveyors' 'checking ' nothing out. Now l've been without use of my toilet due to a severe blockage, following 2 day wait for 'urgent' repair, 2 days of no one answering the phone!
Told by 'emergency' services at midnight when I finally got hold of someone to that they can't say when someone's coming! Not allowed to have numbers direct to emergency repairs.
Asked to speak to a manager and told he's on a meeting call AT MIDNIGHT.
And supervisor busy AT MIDNIGHT.
Now told I'll need to be decamped due to severity of blockage and no toilet to use. They have to break into downstairs for access!. This is all criminal!!! WHO IS DOING WHAT about this criminality!!!
Called Westminster Health & Safety last week to express my concerns over structure of building, no one's called
God help us

Awful terrible association, I've waited years for repairs , they turn up unexpected they destroyed my home furnishings , lie all the time .I've had nightmare if a time with them .cowboys are sent to do the work , some dont even speak english .they put gate lock on upside down. Broke my curtain rail ..paint on clothes and stair carpet its been horrendous that's when they feel like turning up , then deny they have done the damage .I wish to go I'd never moved over to them .no respect for yr property.. then you get them ringing say they've attended whrn you've sat in all day and they havent , it's so infuriating and stressful .my anxiety is thru the roof .yet you miss a weeks rent and they ringing constantly ,shambles of a concern .disgusting,

We have just had workmen to do our fire safety doors. They have left chipped wood on the carpet. And a big chunk has been chopped away from the frame. Why can't they get proper workmen to do the job? Instead of cowboys. This door was not like this before the work was done. This work was done in cubitt square, Southall, today. 30 th july. 2024. Was not even told the workmen will be coming. Some residents could be working nights. We should be informed when work will be done.

Absolutely terrible customer service and badly organised organisation.

I have been on the call for 1hr 6 mins to find out an update on why a scaffolding has been put up in our flats. Currently the advisor is saying they need to go on the call waiting line to speak to the repairs team or they can email them for an update. Being told there response time is 2-3 working days.

Back in October i had called them to ask why this was there and they said they would get back to me it is now 3 months down the line.

Since the scaffolding has been put up i have seen one person on it for one day. Also i can not open my windows to get some fresh air in as well as needing to fix the window hinge so my 20 month old and 6 year old daughter are not freezing in their room at night. I've also had to crank the heating up to try and make sure they are warm.

How do I go about getting a senior director to look into this

This is totally unacceptable

Extremely Dissatisfied with Peabody's Customer Service

I feel compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience with Peabody, formerly known as Catalyst. The level of customer service I have received has been nothing short of abysmal.

Firstly, the representatives at their call center have displayed a shocking lack of professionalism. On multiple occasions, I found them to be exceedingly rude. In addition to their discourteous behavior, there were instances where they abruptly hung up on me without providing any reason, even after enduring a frustratingly long wait time of 1 hour to speak with someone.

This sort of treatment is not only disrespectful but also reflects a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. As a result of such egregious behavior, I am left with no choice but to consider taking legal action against Peabody. It is disheartening to witness such a deterioration in service quality from a company that plays a crucial role in housing.

I sincerely hope that Peabody addresses these issues promptly and takes the necessary steps to improve their customer service standards. Until then, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this company.
