The views from atop of the old heap here are breathtaking you can almost see the ocean! You can see Ashington and Lynemouth from the top too. There are no toilets or anything like that here It's a few pathways with some seating around. It's very hilly so beware of that I suppose.

It's the lonnin. Ideal for a quick turn with the dog. Flat and can easily take a push chair around.

The community woods are lovely , very quiet , and a very pleasant walk . But I could see no bins for dog poo , or for just normal litter except a large one near the parking place . I think this could put off a lot of people as we did see some abandoned dog poo bags and general litter around . Apart from that it’s a nice area .

There is a hill and some trees with pathways..ps pick up your dog poo if you visit
