Been here recently for my twin granddaughters 21st birthday party. Barman Cameron was great in every way. Dj was excellent good variety off music. Everyone enjoyed the night. When my daughter went to get the deposit back the next day the chairman was very off with her, complaining that some off the wallpaper in the lounge was missing from the walls where she removed the decorations ie posters as such. This was missing a lot when she booked the room with steward and he said so himself. Told her to use blue tac which she did and she admitted that there was a couple of bits did come off but not all off what the chairman was pointing out to her. She left the room in good order as I wouldn’t expect any other from her as she was brought up to respect people and property. Don’t think they know what they are doing these members off the committee as the chairman told her the steward wanted to speak to her . After finding him he said no because the chairman would sort it !! Well so who do you believe ! So eventually the chairman gave her the money back with some undeserved attitude. I believe if your dealing with the public you need to have better customer relations than this. I worked in this club many years ago and we will not be booking any functions in the future !!

Don't book with these they take your money and then sell your booking to somebody else. We have the receipt, and they won't honour the consumer rights act of 2015 by cancelling our booking they breach this and will not offer the refund.

Had my engagement party here back in August 2021. The staff are so helpful and let me come in to decorate the room as and when I needed to. The drinks are cheap and the staff are always lovely when I see them - this is our local club and come in often.

They have recently renovated the Function Room so I would definitely recommend booking this for any small parties, christening's, birthday's, etc.
