No surprise they can't recruit permanent staff at this place. Staffs are lovely and very good but are overworked and constantly asked to take more shifts and made to feel guilty for being off or being sick. Disgusting to make staff feel guilty in this way. Pay staffs a decent wage and attract permanent workers instead of spending fortune on agency staffs. Meanwhile management are incompetent and lazy and seem to take time off whenever they need it without being made to feel guily. Also team leader David is very rude, moody and hates helping out. He does not want to get hands dirty, will give all menial tasks to lowly staff members. All the staffs are on eggshells around him. He can barely even use basic hoist without guidance from other staffs. He complain about staff being on phones for brief moment (even though my children were unwell) while he sits in office on his phone or taking personal call whenver he likes. Residents are really lovely, maybe except for one man who needs to be in mental health unit as he cannot sit still and shouts bloody every second, and he will hit you when you try and help him, as a woman i did not feel safe with him but nobody seemed to care. They just told me to deal with it. Its also not fair for the other resident. Staff members should stop gossip about each other and try and work together even if you don't get on. I will not return here but its good for others to know about this place.
