There are no words adequate enough to fully thank all of the staff at the Hospice. The care they gave my son was more than excellent. They not only cared for my son they also cared for the whole family. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you.

Pendleside Hospice took care of my father a few days before he passed away,
The hospice itself is very nice and has a good facilities that are spotlessly clean and well equipped, the Doctors there are very professional and caring,
but most other staff you will meet in there are awful rude and un-sympathetic, if you’re visiting at night the staff can’t wait for you to leave and will make it very uncomfortable for you to stay, one of the nurses telephoned me in regards to my father and was rude and abusive. I had to put the phone down as I was being shouted at over my just passed away father.
Their behaviour was disgusting, and their communication skills are very poor.
I would have considered complaining but I know it would not go anywhere other than the bin.
The management in the hospice must be fully aware that some of the staff are unsuitable to work in a hospice environment.

If you have a choice, I would pick somewhere else to look after your loved ones.

Beautiful place. Fantastic, friendly, caring, hard working staff. Family after care is truly amazing. This place and all the wonderful staff will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️. The care they give our loved ones will never be forgotten

Visited a late cousin last week in the Pendleside Hospice. She was so comfortable and relaxed in such serene surroundings, all the the staff were Angel's ensuring that she had the highest quality of care & empathy throughout.
