Having moved to Penistone in the last few months, I needed to find a new pharmacy, which isn't something I was looking forward to (I've mostly had stressful experiences with pharmacies elsewhere when it comes to getting my monthly medication, prescribed for a long-term health condition).

Ever since the first time I spoke with the team at Penistone Pharmacy, they've been nothing short of amazing! They've gone above and beyond in dealing with some of the admin I find hard to do, they've kept in regular contact, they've made helpful suggestions, they've saved me money... and they've done it all with compassion and friendliness!

I genuinely cannot praise this place enough and am very happy to have found them.

Been using this Pharmacy for the last two and half years. I have found the staff friendly and helpful. Recently I was not able to collect a prescription in person as I was housebound through a foot issue and phoned them and explained, at this point they mentioned they do a free delivery service and would deliver the tablets. I was really surprised at this and excepted the offer as the tablets were well needed and arrived within two hours fantastic service. I am really happy with the service and will be using them as long as needed. Keep up the good work.

Penistone Pharmacy have been so helpful. Whilst trying to get a prescription as a student home from uni, they’ve gone above and beyond to make things as easy as possible, and all staff are always so friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend enough.

Coop bad wells bad Penistone BAD.

The NO stock stop

I give one star on here because i HAVE to thats all they deserve very selfish & liars do anything for your custom and as for caring no i wouldnt say that fake yes i was a customer dont let them talk you into signing up but thats your choice they dont care about you as a patient its all a front.

THOUGHT IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE WHEN I WAS THERE THEN SHOCKED THE WAY THE PHARMACY DEALT WITH MY SITUATION. NO PROFESSIONAL AT ALL

Probably the worst experience of a pharmacy ever. A few months ago we started using Well Penistone for their repeat prescription order service for our infant son's medication. Since then we have experienced lost prescriptions, prescriptions not ready when we were told they would be and incorrect items ordered. The service is really slow and there is no urgency or apology when they make a mistake. The icing on the cake was today when we went to collect a prescription we were told would be ready three days ago. They couldn't find it and told us it hadn't been received from the doctor. We went to the doctors who told us that it had been sent. Went back to the pharmacy and they had found it. Safe to say we've cancelled the service and have taken our prescriptions elsewhere. One of the five star reviews below is from an employee.

All the staff are helpful, friendly and genuinely care about the welfare of anyone who comes through the door regularly going above and beyond to help. They offer a wide range of services and by offering flu jabs and Covid jabs they take the pressure off the doctors surgeries and help people who have no means of transportation living in our rural area. All the staff are efficient and as a regular visitor I appreciate that.

I needed and urgent flu jab prior to starting chemotherapy. Several other providers just said they didn’t have stocks or appointments. Penistone pharmacy went out of their way to source a vaccine and give it to me. A big thank you for the caring attitude of the young lady who sorted this out for me
