Visited over summer with my son as he had hurt his ankle.

Staff were great with him. He had his first xray and the nurses were excellent at communicating with him and showed him afterwards what it looked like and explained what everything was. He absolutely loved it and the whole team made him feel calm about it.

No broken bones but plenty of advice given.

Couldn’t fault the hospital here, it was great.

We often visit the lakes for holidays and will not hesitate to visit the hospital if required.

Thank you for all the help and support you gave me and my 10 year old.

We had already been passed from the Penrith GP to the Pharmacy 1st program but despite the pharmacist discovering ear infections in my 2 small children, no one could help us because we have a Scottish postcode so we're not eligible for proper appointments or prescriptions. We then went to Urgent Care at the hospital at the advice of the pharmacist. We waited more than 2.5 hours to be seen. The doctor spent less than a second looking in both children's ears. Unlike during the pharmacy appointment, where the pharmacist spent an hour observing and trying to help us. He dismissed us with the claim there was a little redness but no infection in either child. He was callously happy to have disproved the pharmacist which I thought unprofessional. I had spent 7 hrs at this point seeking help for my children. We went back to Scotland and immediately got appointments at hospital where the kids were both diagnosed with ear infections and given antibiotics as well as fungal cream for a skin problem on my youngest's ear. Clearly there has got to be a better system for Scottish patients! Also better professional relationships between Pharmacy 1st and the hospital if both are to flourish. A house divided cannot stand.

I'm currently being treated for a badly burnt foot.......

Exceptional is, the only way to describe the treatment I'm receiving at the moment.

Everyone, from the receptionist, nurses and doctors are top class .

They're clearly very proud of their hospital.

This is clearly demonstrated in the totally professional manner in which I'm being treated .

I'd say that it'll end up making a fundamental contribution in my recovery.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

People came in and out before we were looked at. Prioritised everyone else in the urgent care centre. waited 4 and a half hours and didn’t tell us about waiting times or delays. When we were seen. we were the last people in the waiting room. and they told us no antibiotics or medication for a bacterial disease. been to a different urgent care centre closer to home and they immediately prescribed us penicillin and couldn’t have been more helpful
