Small but comprehensive local history museum. Set in a 16th century building. Lots of great artifacts and oral history by residents remembering Penryn in the past. You sit comfortably in an old armchair, whilst hearing this. Free admission.

Not the biggest museum I've ever been to and a bit hard to find, however it was very nice when we finally got in the, interesting to find out about the history of Penryn, the staff were very helpful and they even have a fun activity for the kids all in all a good way to spend an hour or so and it's free

First started in the early 1970s after a visit to the Museum in Mevagissey by the then "Borough" Town Council. The Town clerk at the time was Eric Dawkins.
