Perranporth Beach is very busy during the holiday season and throughout the year as not only is it a huge expanse of beautiful sand and sea surrounded by cliffs and dunes, but it is a place where you can spend from morning till late evening lazing in the Sun, surfing, body boarding, taking a dip in the sea pool, Play any sport do you feel you can on the beach, having barbecues or picnics, or safely exploring the mini rock caves.
It is near a town with all the facilities you could dream of, and, just for the icing on the cake, it also has a bar/Restaurant on the beach!
The beach gets very busy in the day, so the earlier they arrive the better. Saying that, you do get to witness one of the most beautiful sunset opportunities along the north coast.
Check the Cornwall Council website for all the beaches that dogs are allowed on with dates and times.
Please remember to make toms off memories, take everything home with you and leave only footprints πŸ‘£ πŸ™Œ
Have a great time πŸ˜ŠπŸ™Œ

Perranporth is one of the bigger beaches in Cornwall. It’s in a great location with a small town just behind. So lots of parking choices shops cafe bars pubs etc.
On the beach there is a pub and toilets and of course life guards.

Nice beach with caves, rock pools to explore. Also an old Victorian sea pool to use (warning, it's cold!) Good facilities on the beach at the Watering Hole. The car park by the Texaco garage is good value and only a few minutes walk.

Beautiful beach with miles of sand. There is a little stream that runs at the entrance of beach that is passable by bridge and footpath. The beach is surrounded by cliffs and pretty rock formations. Perfect for water sports, families, beach games, picnics and just relaxing. There are lifeguards on duty in the day that offer safe places to bathe, surf and bodyboard. A carpark is located right by the beach, public toilets, local shops, bars and cafΓ©s are all within a short walk.
