Don’t even bother looking at the houses they have on offer, they’re possibly the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

Yes our house is lovely, but that’s only after constant battles with aftercare etc. Our garden is a bog, and we’ve had a second open case to get it sorted for 7 months now, and we’re still seeing no progress, although it isn’t aftercares fault and it’s constant middle man work, the actual care they give us in helping is next to none. I’ve never known a whole company be so incompetent, it’s quite impressive at how little they care for peoples homes etc, they forget it’s real people living and dealing with the conditions they say are ā€˜fine’. We have 2 dogs and the garden is almost unusable at this point, with their latest response being, ā€˜Well it’s almost the end of the year I highly doubt the customer is using the garden, we’ll look at it in March’. This is completely unacceptable and again the lack of care is outright disgusting at this point. Raise a complaint…we have…multiple infact, it gets you know where at all and means absolutely nothing.
I’ve lived on my estate for 18 months now, the whole estate is finished apart from the roads. There’s pot holes the size of basically sinkholes covering the roads in the estate, multiple people have had no access to their driveways for over 12 months now due to the ironworks being raised but no roads being layed. And people on the estate have had countless tires blow out because of these ridiculous roads with again zero care from anyone involved in the estate.

Again, don’t even bother looking. They’ll suck you in with a lovely looking home and the rest is disaster

Cheers for nothing but stress Persona, you really know how to make a first home purchase memorable!

Everything would be much better if they didn’t have the worst aftercare team!

We had a list of things that needed sorting which we provided within the first 48 hours of moving as requested and it’s been a year and a half and most of the things are not done yet. Every time we contact them, there is no further action taken by them.

We have our upstairs bathroom leaking downstairs in the kitchen in middle of the ceiling in dining area and we are not able to use our main bathroom for how many months now and there is still no sign of aftercare team dealing with our problem.

We have birds coming in the loft and ruining all the isolation because of a missing tile which you can clearly see from outside and over a year and no sign of aftercare team.

Kitchen worktop which was an upgraded one is done poorly and had scratches on and the cut of the splash back is not even and is looking bad. We opened the case and had few visits from the worktops provider and they couldn’t solve the uneven worktop + splash back problem and said they need to change the whole thing. And then we haven’t heard anything back. We contacted the aftercare team and were told that this case was closed. Then found out there was a lady who messed up everything and left the aftercare team. And we would be contacted by someone else who will deal with everything. This was again few months ago and there is nothing until now.

We have a clear plastic put in the kitchen floor in the edges where floor tiles meet cupboards was put on top of the dust from the construction and the worker tried to remove the plastic to be able to clear underneath it in the first days of moving and they were not able to. They advised us to contact aftercare team and they would send the kitchen building team and nothing from the after care team.

Someone supposed to visit us end of the first year in the house to do the checks and fix everything and we never had this visit. Walls are full of cracks. Grouts in the bathroom and en-suite cracked.

Our side door has a metal coming out of it and not easy to close or open and also the key is not working properly on the door lock. You have to try so hard to be able to turn it. Again it was reported and nothing yet.

Every-time we email them, we put all these things listed and have to explain over and over again and this is seriously so crazy that even the managers don’t care!

Lastly their paint is so bad and i can say the worst thing in the house done poorly by the workers is the paint. (Plus noisy floors upstairs)

Love the design of the rooms in our Forte home and high ceiling downstairs is lovely.

As i said if the aftercare team does their job a little bit close to good, it would be much different experience.

We are still waiting for a manager to give us a call back or visit us to deal with our complaints.

Do NOT buy a property on this estate. Persona and their builder, Equans, will outright refuse to fix snags outside of a 48 hour period once you receive the keys even though they are as a result of poor workmanship and materials. Whilst it is appreciated that new build homes come with snags, there is usually an understanding that they will be resolved, however, with this house builder it is not the case. Please use a more reputable house builder. The process seems fab until after the day of completion, once they have your money.
