Was taken into hospital by police who said I wasn't managing at home who didn't care about my accident and my health.. then removed myself section but wouldn't let me see a lawyer and won't let me leave over ppett6y home issues.

This is another review. I would like to say coming back to the hospital felt great and clearly made me understand why I have a wild mind and have not been able to sleep. As much as I enjoy being in Lincoln hospital I hope it's a while before I need to speak to you guys again 😉 This is for both the mental transition unit and Peter Hodkingson Unit.

My son was there on the end last year. He get himself missing when symptoms again occured just to not go to this place. It is just rules, He cant have take away in other days then Saturdays, he can not go smoke when he wants, he has felt like prissoner and his mental state and place what supposed to help him was to him like punishment. He said he has used the gym once within 2 months time as they have no enough staff to facilitate this. People there are trying to make a different, I cant fault them for that. Most of the staff are really good but service what they offer is very limited. Very, very sad place.

tried to kill myself, police stopped me, went to Peter hodgkinson centre, told them what happened and that I am going to try again, they sat me in a waiting room for 2 hours, I got bored and just left and on my way out they just said "bye bye"
supposed to be there help people, but they don't care at all

My daughter is currently in there. Absolutely shocking place...
Never again is she stepping a foot in there.
Left to their own devices left to wonder here and there. People are in there for a reason because they not safe to wonder. The place needs reporting which is what I intend doing.

I stayed in one night at the Peter Hodkinson centre and the psychiatrist guy I saw was very rude towards me he said he did not care if I refuse to eat and drink and was very rude towards me and has upset me with his attitude he also said I can’t attend that place anymore with my MH issues. He shouldn’t even have a job at that place very rude

Was sectioned onto Connolly Ward last year. Excellent caring and professional Staff, both Clinical and Housekeeping. Mid day meals were lovely, tasty and filling. Activities were regular and varied. I was always included in care decisions. My visitors were always made welcome. Only criticism was the amount of noise during the day, admittedly there were works going on downstairs, and it doesn't have to be like a Library, but if people could just keep their voices down a bit?
Anyway, overall 5 stars was thoroughly deserved due to my experience.
