Completely mixed review -

Soft play -
Great for small kids (under 148cm in height). Oldest child (10yr old approx. 150cm) was refused entry for being just over the height restriction however, nothing was said to the fair few adults that where running around in the junior area. Soft play/sitting area itself was clean and it is very reasonably priced for the time duration. Some staff where pleasant and attentive however some where miserable and unhelpful with lack of people skill's.

Bowling -
No issues, went at a quieter time (5:30PM). Plenty of lanes. Very good weekday offers available.

Nicely done,qym,bowling, kids play area, swimming pool for adults 3m deep on deep side ,small pool for little kids with sitting area for both pools, will recommend for families.

Peterlee leisure centre posted on Facebook about FREE activities on National fitness week. It included 7 day free pass, free bowling and free softplay, mentioning need to contact reception for more info. No particular dates mentioned. I contacted reception and the lady at the reception knew nothing about these FREE activities but after speaking to other staff members told me to just turn up, never mentioned I have to pay for anything. I turned up and ended up paying for both of my children. Horrible experience, false advertisement. Won't be coming again here

In the soft play area there is a section that says under four years. My 19 month grandson got knocked over twice by much older children. My 4month old granddaughter nearly got swiped a couple of times from our arms also from children running fast past us and also tickled hard by an older child. Another child said I'm allowed as long as I'm careful. Then proceeded to do cartwheels. Again nearly knocking over my grandson. No matter how much we tried to keep them out, they kept coming back. I got the attention of the man working there who cleared it once after my attempts but then he dissapeared. A woman argued her older daughter should be allowed in because she had a sibling there. I said all our children have siblings here probably. My oldest granddaughter was in the older section. I went to complain and was pointed in the dirrection of a young lady giving me apologies but did nothing to sort the issue. We had to take our children out as it clearly was not safe. Leaving Our older child to play longer. We felt horrible! These rules are put in place for a reason and so not only the older children get to have an enjoyable experience. Narcasistic behaviour from the adults and passing that trait onto their children of self entitlement regardless of the rules. Total lack of respect for others

We payed for the soft play. Kids loved it. Only down fall is toilets and baby changing unit is absolutely filthy. Couldn't change our children as it was that filthy. Had to go to weatherspoon toilet just to change our children.
