My daughter was 4 when she joined Petersfield Karate. She absolutely loves it. Sensei Matt is incredible with the kids, mixing discipline with fun in a way that keeps all ages fully engaged. My daughter has passed her first grading and is now the proud owner of an orange stripe on her belt. With Sam running things behind the scene, Petersfield karate is a place kids will grow both mentally, physically and emotionally.

Matt is a great teacher. He’s very enthusiastic and animated when teaching, which the kids really respond well to. His sessions are varied and fun and there’s none of the repetitive marching up and down the hall like they do at other clubs. My kids love their sessions and I really enjoy the adult class 🙂

My kids absolutely love doing Karate with Matt and his team, they have been learning with Matt for nearly 2 years now and their enthusiasm and enjoyment has not waned. Matt is fantastic with the kids and celebrates that all kids are different, my own previously lacking in confidence and struggling to concentrate, neither is an issue now and this is down to Matt. I would recommend Petersfield Karate to any parent who wants to involve their child in an amazing team environment where nurture and belonging are just as important as the karate.

I can't speak highly enough of Petersfield Karate Club! My now 13 year old has been a member for nearly 3 years , and myself for 7 months. Having been an observer for nearly 2 1/2 years watching my daughter I decided to give it a go too, I am so glad I did, it's so welcoming, inclusive and fantastic for building confidence. Matt and all the other Senseis are wonderful and so passionate about what they do. It's a great way to get fit, learn self defence and respect with a fab bunch of people.

Both sons attend. Matt and his team are brilliant at teaching not only karate but life lessons in a fun engaging way. Club admin is well sorted and they are very flexible in moving dates, changing the number of sessions.
