Great little local cafe with craft items for sale. A friendly, calm place to have tea, homemade cake or a light lunch. I dropped in on my way back from a long walk looking for a welcome break and it didn't disappoint. Run by local volunteers for the community, a great little place to replenish yourself. Quite simply the best toasted tea cake I've had in a long time. They were toasted to perfection and the very cheerful ladies butter them straight from the toaster, so its nicely soaked into the tea cake for you. Fabulous:-) Oh and they're biker and cyclist friendly too. Unlike the other cafe a bit further along the high street where we felt decidedly unwelcome.
