Came here as a school trip residential. The activities and staff was amazing. I would like to also give my respect to Jake as he was a brilliant, caring, helpful group leader and our whole group loved him as a member of us. Also, the food wasn’t as good as the buffet options were all cold and the main food itself wasn’t filling nor nice. My personal favourite activity was Canoeing as I enjoy things to do with water from my experience as a swimmer. I disliked the Quick Fall as i was left with marks on my neck and thighs from the impact of the harness. In general, me and my group all had a wonderful time here and I would like to pay my respect to all the staff there.

I came here for a school trip and i was quite excited for this day. On the first day i was quite excited considering there was so much activities and lots of fun stuff to do, and the rooms weren’t terrible at all. But what made me less excited about this was the food. The food options were not decent at all. The chicken nuggets were soggy but stale at the same time, the sausage looked absolutely raw, and not to mention, the hygiene was absolutely awful. They let the younger children in the cafeteria before us, and obviously young children are not as hygienic. In fact, my friends saw a child coughing on the cutlery. Anyway, the food was absolutely horrid and some of my school mates and one of my best friends ended up at hospital due to food poisoning. In fact I am typing this as i am sitting in my room during a lock down because of food poisoning and gastric. Yesterday, everyone was throwing up and crying and having panic attacks (i was one of the people with a panic attack) and they also left us outside in the freezing cold because they where cleaning the rooms, this all happened at night. And it’s absolutely horrible how me and my roommates are cleaning every single thing we need to grab. And the PGL staff are not even helping us and providing support and instead all the teachers (who are sick also) are doing all the work, which is unbelievable. I don’t suggest going to this place ESPECIALLY if you live super far away from the UK like myself.

The activities were amazing- even though we did not have enough time between the activities and there were too many in a day.

Our school got an infectious bug (either food poisoning or gasteritis, most likely both) , spreading really fast. By the time they took action, it was too late, and several people ended up in hospital due to lack of medication and care.

This isn't the first time it has happened, in fact previous groups have said the same thing- that they good food poisoning or gasteritis.

Our group was even worse as we have ended up in quarantine.

This was all due to the food, and not properly cleaned utensils, and with the amount of kids that there were, there was no way that there could be any sort of control on food. We even saw kids coughing on the utensils the day before the bug came out!

For the amount we payed for, I expected way more.

The worst part is that they left us out in the cold, for 3 hours, just because they didn't know what to do! We were left in bathing suits in 10°C.

The staff provided by pgl also did not attend us properly. Our teachers were beyond exhausted and ended up sleeping during the day time as during the night there were too many sick people.

The place is inhumane- they expect too much from us students and teachers.
There are too many activities, and they are too strenuous. They don't provide proper nutrition, and don't provide enough nutrition. Second helpings aren't provided.

This experience traumatized many individuals, and scared many others.

We have just returned from a five day trip with a group of young people, and the staff were incredible.

A special shoutout to Nico, who consistently checked in on us, adjusted activities to meet our needs, and brought fantastic energy.

We had some staff and young people who were fasting, and the kitchen team went above and beyond to ensure they had warm food for breaking their fast and provided a box of snacks for overnight.

Huge thanks to the staff who helped us prank some of our young people; your dedication was outstanding.

The only downside was not being able to check into my room until 4 pm, despite arriving at noon. The cleaning manager appeared uninterested and somewhat rude, unlike the rest of the staff who were always eager to assist.

Thank you, ( Jameela and The Turn Around Project)

The food was alright, the showers warm once you know how to make it warm (most people say they are cold because they dont know how to use the showers) ,activities amazing but the price should be way more less expensive

A great fun afternoon with the children being challenged to work as a team to problem solve and to conquer their fears on the big swing. Alex was a great guide who related well to the children.
