A friend recommended the Scrapstore to me as I love art and craft work. I hadn't been there before but was blown away by it, a positive Aladdin's cave!
The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back there again.

A very special place to go. There is not only a wealth of crafting possibilities but the people who work and volunteer have an extra layer of are genuine care for their client base. I'm very lucky to have them just d own the road from me.

Treasure trove of a place..and very very cheap..even had a pottery tea pot to replace the one my loveable but clumsy kitty broke for a whole pound! Excellent for crafts and art stuff..

Whatever quirky outlandish resource or materials I need for a project or workshop I always find something that will do the job in the scrapstore. Staff are fun, and really down to earth, love their job, passionate about making better use of clean recycled materials. We need more scrapstores!!

If you're like me and like a rummage, this is the place to go. I'm an artist so I look for various found or interesting articles that I can work into collages or found object prints... There is something for everyone, with a well laid out selection of barrels of discarded items, books, bags, material, craft and scrap items... You'll never know what might turn up in this Aladins cave... Membership for the year means you get discount prices on everything, staff are friendly and very helpful. If you don't see what you're looking for downstairs ask to be shown upstairs by a member of staff.... Fascinating place, one can become addicted very quickly.
