1st ever visit and what a great little venue.
Watched the Graffiti classics and they were amazing ,well worth it.
Only a small place but big enough to feel involved in the action.

Went to see a play, enjoyed the bar and the staff were very helpful.
It is fairly accessible inside but the seating was a bit challenging and no dedicated seats available if there were any.
Parking outside OK but very busy.

First time at this venue and really love it. Went to see the comedian Paul Foot and its a very intimate performance as the stage is on the same level as the front row which leads to interaction like no other venue.
Highly recommend this venue.

We've been going to events at Pocklington Arts Centre for many years now.
The Arts Centre is situated in the centre of town with some parking outside on the street; there are other off road carparks quite close by.
It is both a cinema and a theatre so has a constantly evolving programme catering for all age ranges and interests.
As we live a car journey away we don't use it as our cinema, preferring instead to visit for live performances.
I like the intimacy of the Arts Centre; it has a lovely cosy atmosphere and the fact that the auditorium is not too big means that every seat is a good seat; the audience really feel engaged in performances.
My suggestion would be that you sign up to the newsletter but also keep an eye on their social media and website. If you see something you would like to attend, my advise would be to book tickets as soon as possible as some of the big name performers sell out very quickly.
Edit: I love the upgrades to the building!
Also, have visited the studio space for the first time-great exhibition.

Our first visit. How come we have not been before? How lovely. What a stunning comfortable venue. Excellent facilities (very posh loos!). A clear acoustic and sight lines in the auditorium.

We saw Grace Petrie's solo comedy act "Butch much ado about nothing". Clever, witty, well paced and powerful.
