Pogson & Armitage are now part of George Barlow and Sons, long-established and regarded as the premier undertakers in Oldham and surrounding areas. David (Barlow) took care of my wife, Margaret"s funeral yesterday, Thursday 12 Sept 2024. The company gave immaculate, reliable service in every regard. I can't praise Sarah and her team enough. My mum had been ill for a long time and there were several occasions when I was told to begin to make arrangements. Sarah had overseen the funeral of a friend and so I knew she was the person I wanted to work with for my mum's funeral as well. She was patience personified throughout the entire planning process and when my mum actually died she was kind, professional but also very down to earth, which I really appreciated. Having been through an awful few years and then a difficult death, the one thing it turned out I never worried about was that my mum was in the safest of hands. Even after the funeral itself, Sarah has continued to be so supportive, which I think is testament to the character of the whole business. I would recommend her and her team to anyone and would like to thank Sarah again, as I have many times, for all she has done for us. Hannah
