Polhawn fort is the most beautiful wedding venue in the world. There, I said it!!

James and the team who work tirelessly to keep the fort as incredible as it was on Saturday for our wedding this weekend really did go out of their way to ensure everything was as perfect as can be. The venue speaks for itself and it was the only one we viewed - couldn’t have imagined booking anywhere else!!
The beds were extremely comfy, every room was stunning and we were so lucky to get to have our ceremony outside at the beginning of March, with the breathtaking views that wrapped around the whole fort.
I could carry on writing for hours but just thank you so much if anybody reads this for making our wedding absolutely perfect!

Towards the end of last year my best friend invited me for a spoiling weekend away in Cornwall at the stunning Polhawn Fort which is steeped in history.

Having spent a lot of my childhood in Cornwall, this is a part that I didn’t know and wow was it beautiful. The breathtaking views across the Cornish landscape at the Fort and also while driving to the headland where the Fort stands, set the tone for a wonderful weekend of self care indulgence, laughter, good food, and a wellness recharge with great friends.

It really is the most beautiful venue in a stunning part of the world. With it own private beach and wonderful wholesome walks together with the opportunity to experience a sound bath run by the owner as well as an amazing horse box sauna with outdoor plunge pool looking over the superb dreamy landscape below us, it really did feel like a total reset and getting back to nature.

The fabulous owners are so passionate about the place and you can see this in every part of the fort. The decor is extremely sympathetic to the building and you can really feel and experience the history of it in every room.

It’s an unforgettable location and the perfect venue catering for anything from a weekend of friends, a wedding, a special family occasion or simply just time away. It also works for all ages. My 6 years old loved every minute. It was like a fairytale of discovery and hidden parts for her and my godson to discover.

Thank you Polhawn Fort for so generously looking after us and for your attention to detail, your hard work and love for Polhawn Fort really shows through in every part of this beautiful venue and really made our weekend such a special and memorable one.

I really cannot recommend it enough, I just need to come up with an excuse for our next visit.

Our son and now daughter in law got married here on the1st Feb2025. We had the whole place for the 3 nights. Everything was just amazing and so well organised. It was perfect in every way. The flowers, the caterers. Everything was exceptional. Can't thank everyone involved for making it such a special weekend and wedding venue. Would highly recommend

This place is off the scale I didn’t want to leave! I got married here last week and had the best day of my life all thanks to Polhawn Fort and their team (James & Kyran)! The venue is stunning, has its own private beach, huge rooms and is dog friendly. The fort accommodated my whole family from Monday to Friday and had everything we needed. From spectacular views of the Cornish coast line, to comfortable beds and open fire places this place is perfect for every occasion no matter winter or summer! Highly recommend Polhawn Fort. Our wedding day was amazing at the fort. The fort is just beautiful and we feel in love with the history and building. Despite storm Bert causing a power cut the team did everything to get everything back up and running in time for the wedding. Couldn’t recommend them enough

Booked for our wedding and couldnt have picked a better location.

Despite the initial bad weather, it is still a stunning venue, and then when the weather improved, it was unreal. Constant compliments from guests.

It was also fantastic to stay there for two nights with amazing bedrooms and bathrooms.

And finally all the staff were incredibly helpful before and during the wedding.
