Nice walk with a spectacular view into the mouth of the river Fowey. You can see pretty much of all st.austell bay and surrounding beaches from the top.

It's hard to describe the beauty of this village in a few words. You will find many things to like here: narrow streets, gardens, mysterious corners filled with plants and decorations, atmospheric cafes, pubs, picturesque houses along a small bay and many more... walking through the village is like taking part in a movie that you don't want to end. GREAT!

One of the coolest weekend getaways I've had in years.

Great food, quirky shops, friendly locals, beautiful Alley ways, walks with a picturesque beach and finally good prices everywhere.

Definitely reccomend the local waking paths and pubs.

Absolutely loved this little fishing village.
I can kind of understand the disappointment of people complaining about the car park (you cannot enter the town and have to park before getting in), the minimum you have to pay is now £6 for 3 hours (November 2022) and it’s cash only. But honestly, it’s totally worth it and the walk to the town doesn’t take that long.
The town is lovely, with traditional houses, small streets and many canals. The harbour area is amazing as well and if you climb the cliff (to go on the coastal path that goes from Polperro to Polruan) you’ll have a stunning view of the cliffs!

Fantastic walk, some amazing views, some places have steep steps mind so be mindful of that. Found some very large mushrooms on the route don't think they were edible, so Please dont pick them just admirer them.

Another fab place to walk along this fabulous coastline, visited the day tower and went up, a must if it's open, the views from the top are amazing you can see for miles along the coast. Can't praise this place enough, so get your walking boots on and enjoy a fabulous walk.

Lovely views, bit narrow the streets and hilly and difficult to access by car but then the air quality is good! Please be respectful of local residents

Not a destination for disabled people. The car park is a long way from the main bay. IMO there was no provision for my difficulty walking. To find very little was open after paying for parking and making the effort to get there was disappointing. We felt unwanted and left. It is Winter but most places welcome keen visitors. It did look pretty what we saw.
