This is one of the worse social services departments I've dealt with. My partners ex was tested positively for cocaine and social services didn't see that as a reason to remove the children from his care, or conduct further hair strand tests They have not helped my partner have contact with her children as she left due to domestic abuse and gas lighting was placed in a refuge no help from social at all as perpertrater managed to wrap social worker round his finger. Thought social services were ment to help families and children have contact clearly not when they only listen to one side not interested in the other parents side or have input. Complete joke make a complaint it gets turned round on you even if they have contact addresses and email addresses be warned!!!!!!!!

My experience here:

Give them a two based on the fact that they got their act together when I spoke up to my social worker and their manager about some concerns I had. Oh believe me, I'm fair with people but they bricked themselves when I speak up especially after I had already been on the phone to Social Work England and had a lovely chat with them, they were not at all impressed. This still stands if I have any further unresolved conflict and it will go to them with immediate effect if concerns and issues keep continuing an arising. I am not afraid of anyone in there or anyone else for that matter and I do not care if you are Elon Musk multi billionaire. I am still a human being on the receiving end so I'll keep talking and fighting for what I and other people deserve. Until that happens, my authority in my tone of voice and way of dealing with these situations will not change until I see change from BCP Council's social services. They were completely bricking it because they know I will make a complaint and potentially take legal action in serious circumstances. I will not go into detail as it is not necessary and I don't need your email which probably has thousands of unread emails and unresponded emails waiting to be replied to from many local users of the service. I'm not one of those people who says they're going to do this that and the other and not do it. And if they want to threaten me with anything - If they ever do, they best mean what they say. Don't ever say anything unless you truly mean it. I could also take issues to the local ombudsman in such serious cases. I'm a person of action, not just my word. In too many cases including mine, they THINK they can just brush people off and THINK they will but I made it precisely clear, that will never happen for as long as I'm around.

Simple solution. If you don't like what truth I have to say, it's simple. START LISTENING to people and DELIVERING ACTION. I don't know how many times I and other people have to say it. The capital letters are to highlight your points to improve.

No longer located on Park Road. I found them on Commercial Road and was hoping to be able to sit with someone to discuss my Mum’s situation but was told to look at the services section online. My Mum is 94 and doesn’t have a computer or internet so I’m trying now to get help from a distance. Found an address to send an email 4 days ago. No response yet.

Terrible... the lady that was leading the case wrote nothing but lies and half truths she never sticked to the facts and could even get some facts right! All this on a legal document.... she promised me her manager would ring yesterday surprise nothing she promised me at 16.30 yesterday the manager would ring today not holding out much hope this woman cannot be trusted.

Absolutely disgusting social services if you can even call it that!! I Can’t get my head around why some of you lot are still in your jobs if you are not passionate about helping people with mental health and disabilities and simply can’t be bothered!! Have been left to defend for myself!! Didn’t want to know soon as I turned 18!! You should be ashamed!! Can’t express how livid I am and disgusted!!!

This can vary if you're having one to one contact to somebody that's normally ok but I have found any services these days it's all about paperwork and I'm sorry but I'm not a statistic for anybody so please drop me
