Had a great day ...lots of food ... But the farmers market small ..and not many tasters

We followed the signs for Park and RIDE, unfortunately after paying there was no ride, we queued for the ride down but there was one small approx 16 seater for hundreds of people. We walked down the hill and on the way back again queued to go back up the hill to be told there was no bus as the driver had to have a break. So paid for a service we didn't get. One mini bus for hundreds of people with young children and elderly people who could not walk back up the hill.

I finally managed to get down to the food festival, between work and Covid I have missed the last few years, and it definitely lived up to the hype.

The quality and choice of food and drink was excellent, I managed to sample 3 amazing dishes in one day (you have to treat yourself right?) and washed it down with a nice pint of Korev.

The festival was very well organised, the parking was convenient at the football club as you walked straight into the festival from there, it was well marshalled and there was a really nice vibe, with a good mix of family’s and people there for a big weekend, either way everyone looked like they was having a great time.

100% will go next year and would recommend to anyone!

The annual Porthleven Food Festival is a fantastic event in a beautiful location. There was is of course lots of different food to try, dishes from Cornwall and cuisine from all corners of the world. There's also music venues with a lot of jollity and beer and friendly faces. I've always had a really good time, and you if you like a rural event with diversity and fun for all,then go!

The food is unreal — exactly like you hope, only better! But the real surprise comes after dark when the good times REALLY get going. Can't wait for the next one!
