Paid for parking up near top of the harbour near the supermarket. We worked our way around the shops and galleries , bought a few things , nice tee shirt, mug, salt - the Shipyard market was a nice suprise, small, but had interesting varied crafty things , places to sit eat after purchasing home cooked, thi food, drinks, coffee. We had brunch near the outer harbour. Walking to the end of the pier , walked around the little streets , the beach is long and when the tide is out i believe you can walk over to Looe Bar beach and Lagoon. Stunning scenary.
Overall , we loved the town and shops , the beach was lovely. Well worth a visit.

Porthleven is a buzzing place, loads of cafes shops and eateries are open for business and the coastal path in both directions is a good walk. Even saw a baby adder basking in the sun! Plenty of parking. Recommend a visit!

One of my Cornish favourites!
Lovely small fishing village with a few very nice pubs, galleries & craft stalls.
Not a lot of parking though & mind the seagulls.

We took a wrong turn and consider ourselves blessed to have ended up here! We stayed all day and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I have been coming to Cornwall for over 60yrs and this was my first visit here, it certainly won't be the last!

Lovely harbour with great offer of restaurant, bars, ice cream and local art galleries. The colourful lights add a nice touch as they come on at sunset. Good place for surfing out of the Harbour and also good features for fishing from the Pier.
