We have used this company twice.

The first property we booked was Joinery Cottage and it was fabulous. Lovely location and view, beautiful property, very peaceful. Based on this experience alone, I would have given a 5 star rating.

The second property we booked was Sandpiper, which was advertised as peaceful when we booked, above an empty property. Around a month before we arrived (and 4 months after we had already booked) I checked the website details and saw that the page had been updated to say it was above a restaurant licensed until 11pm. No one had contacted us to tell us about this significant change. I called to ask about this and was told no one had complained about it so far, but that there was live music three nights a week. I was not offered a change of property. I resigned myself to it potentially being a bit noisy, but was not prepared for the reality! Unfortunately, on our first night, we had music coming from the venue below which was so loud they might as well have been playing in the lounge. The floors were shaking, the knife block was rattling, and there was reverberation off the walls. I do think it's shoddy that the company did not contact us to let us know or offer us an alternative property, and that is the reason for knocking off a star. They did agree to refund us for Saturday night when I made a complaint. It is a shame as Sandpiper is a lovely property but completely unsuitable to stay in with the live music downstairs. Also a shame because we actually ate in the restaurant for the first half of the live music set and it was an unbearable experience so I'm not actually sure who is getting any enjoyment from the volume of the music!

Nice bungalow parking right in front of bungalow if you want peace and quiet and you are fit & like walking this is the place for you if you have any disabilitys then it's not a county to easily get about Cornwall is not very disabled friendly it's a lovely place if you are fit anough to get about and see it all.
