The place offers great value for the money, and I was more than pleasantly surprised to see how proper and all in order, clean, etc, is everything here. And the lady from reception desk is extreeeemely kind, answering your questions, if you have any. I'll definitely come again, when I pass by Portland! It is more like a basic B&B, than just a random ordinary hostel! I strongly recommend it!

Excellent, there was the Dumble Bimble fun run for charity. Fantastic turn out. This event is so well supported. Good weather too.
Pilates class up stairs is well organised and structured. Very well supported. Parking is always a bit of an issue. There is also a gym to use. Excellent stuff.

The main hall was hired out as a venue for a children's activitie, the staff member there greeted everyone with a massive smile and should amazing customer service skills a right credit to the company.
