Extremely clean and comfortable rooms and the bed was very comfy! One small issue, however, is that the heating didn't work! I did also have an issue with the bedside light which was working but was making a VERY loud electrical sound? I told the staff and it was fixed by the time I came back so well done to the staff! Very helpful!

The corridors were a little strange and was at first hard to figure my way around, however, I figured it out pretty quickly (luckily, there are signs to tell you where to go)!

Everything was great, except for the room.

1st off, this hotel is not in Leith, but Newhaven.|The hotel itself is ok, rooms have been refurbished and still has a newness smell. Shame they still have baths fitted that are not easy to get in and out of for a shower.|Breakfast was the usual Premier Inn fair, eggs, sausages, bacon, black pudding ect.|Bacon was undercooked for my liking, but asking the lady behind the counter for some well done bacon, she took some pieces and had it fried on.|Booked this hotel last year (07/24) to then be told 3 weeks before arriving that ''Parking charges'' now in operation as Whitbread had sold off the car park.|Explaining that I had booked before the date of the transfer, so I was given a free pass to park.

I have been staying in this premier for two weeks whilst working in the area and would like to say how lovely all the reception staff have been. Very pleasant and extremely helpfull. I want to extend this to the attached Brewers Fayre staff, all very pleasant, very helpful and the food was very good. The location of this premier is on the Newhaven harbour and just a lovely place to be. Supermarkets nearby, nice pubs and 15 minutes to Edinburgh city centre by taxi.
Thank you all for your hospitality 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Only one issue during stay - the walls are incredibly thin - can hear ever footstep outside the door in the corridor. Didn't have problem sleeping, but a little disturbing if your in the room early evening and doors are being banged (no soft close) etc.

Otherwise Excellent sleep on all 3 nights!! Beds were outstanding! Pillows perfect!!

Exactly what you'd expect from a Premier Inn, better value than the city centre. Our room had been refurbished so everything was fresh and immaculately clean. There were refurbishments ongoing at the hotel and the area was not cordoned off so we did end up walking through part of the works area. It should really be sealed off to the public.||The room has no air-conditioning and was too warm.

The recent refurbishment was well carried out and food was acceptable. The bedroom was very comfortable but the bath/shower area was too high from the floor and possibly dangerous due to possible slipping on the wet surfaces and lack of hand holds in the correct place.||Car parking is chargeable and the pay point is not too obvious.||Good access for bus and tram.||Totally recommended for a short stay while visiting Edinburgh

View out to the sea was highlight! Internet is really slow 0.8 Mbps, even the premium service came in at 5 Mbps. Window on my room didn't lock shut, not a big deal as it was warm. Heating/AC seem to do what it liked. Worst part of my stay was there was renovations going on, so quite a bit of hammering even on a Sunday. I know it must be tricky but maybe offer a discount until it's over, sweeten the deal. Room was nice, had premium room with decent coffee pods, tiny fridge and couple of bottles of water - nice.

It isn't cheap to stay here if you are a family of 5, as you need to book two rooms.

Requested two rooms next to each other as per the website, and made this request well in advance. Had email confirmation and also confirmation when checking in these rooms were next to each other. The request made it clear this was due to a condition one of my children has which means both adults may need to be present at the same time quite quickly.

I questioned this when we checked in and got given rooms 6 numbers apart and was told they were "next to each other".

Long story short, obviously they weren't. They were opposite sides of the corridor, offset by several rooms.

One of the rooms the door didn’t lock unless you slammed it really quite hard, the WiFi is an extra £5 a day unless you want it pretty slow and the rooms are very hot in the summer, even on a cloudy day we had 25° showing on the control panel.

Not the best experience for the price paid (almost £1000 for three nights).

Positives: kids loved the breakfast
