I’m so glad to see the pub clean and looking really nice. Wonderful staff in Kath and Tianna. |So much better than before when unwelcoming. I love the fact they are changing the beers on tap, it was badly needed. It’s good to see a pub moving forward. |Nice new furniture and great they have a pool table back in. |Highly recommend the pub a right old fashioned pub.

Lovely friendly pub we stayed nearby on holiday and ate here about 7 times ! The food is amazing all home cooked served by really friendly staff who all made us feel really welcome , we have been before and will be back . Many Thanks . Grandchildren loved the chocolate pudding .

We called here for a refreshing drink after a long drive to our Holiday destination. We were made to feel extremely welcome by the landlord and the locals drinking at the bar. We decided to stay and watch England play in the Euros.|We had enjoyed the afternoon there so decided to return a few days later, this time for an evening meal. Once again we were given a very warm welcome. We odered 2 starters of different garlic bread, I had olives and sun-dried tomatoes on mine, while the wife went for cheesy garlic bread. For the mains I had a chicken katsu curry, my wife had the gammon steak, while my some had pizza with a side order of cheesy chips, which my son said were the best cheesy chips ever. My son then ordered a pudding of chocolate fudge cake, which he really enjoyed. Me and my wife were both stuffed by this time. To accompany our meal, I had a pint of Proper Job ale, while my wife had a couple of glasses of white wine. My son was drinking Frobishers. We all really enjoyed our meals and the friendly staff and locals. This pub is owned and run by the villagers, so it's good to put some money back into the local economy.

Great to see the pub back open, the new management team have made some vast improvements already, great atmosphere and live music. The enthusiastic management team are definitely moving the pub in the right direction. I look forward to seeing what future events the pub will be holding.

Don’t know about the accommodation but the pub below is now truly awful. The foul language, even from the boss let alone the customers is just appalling. I’m ex military so not a wall flower but no way would I go here with my wife. This place has really gone downhill under the new management in the last 2 months or so. Lack of beers on offer too! Used to be a frequent customer here on every visit to Falmouth once a month but never again. It’s truly unpleasant.

Booked a room with the Prince of Wales via Hotels.com, turned up & the whole place closed up!!! No phonecall, NOTHING! If I could give 0 stars I would. Thanks to booking.com I managed to get another room elsewhere. Someone inside the pub but phones switched off as unavailable. 0 STARS FROM ME!!!

On arrival we learned it has recently (week and half) been taken over by a new couple. The new owners were absolutely lovely and very welcoming, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy!
So the rooms were standard and clean but everything you need to stay clean, eat and sleep.
Definitely stop here again when in the area!

Lovely friendly pub ..we had a delicious Sunday dinner with family..the food was well cooked and all very fresh.. there was a lovely selection of veg with roast beef or pork.. our lady server could not do enough for us .. very highly recommended
