Hi,
I have a not very nice experience with one of your employees, I don’t know her name because she is not on the board with the other employees. She’s a young lady with blonde hair. Whenever she sees an asylum seeker she changes her attitude immediately. She is uncooperative, she’s full of herself, she barely talks when she is asked something, doesn’t smile at all. However, when I see her with English people she is quite the opposite. It’s not only me, even my father once gave her a letter that explains his condition in order for her to read it and let the doctor book him an appointment, when he gave her the letter she immediately threw it on the desk without even looking at it. Now the letter is lost and he needs to get a new one again. The whole team is great, very lovely and cooperative whenever there’s a problem, my only problem is with this employee attitude.

I would give less for the stress and anxiety the surgery caused me, but it doesn't seem to let me. If you need care, there is no point going here. The reception staff are lovely however the doctors, nurse practitioner don't seem to care whatsoever ever. In January after a visit to the GP I was given incorrect medication. After the issue was no better I went back, I was told by the GP the 1st GP was wrong. They gave me different medication. After 2 days and getting worse. I presented yo A&E and was kept on for 5nights. Being told each step of the way the GP was wrong. I should have been referred to podiatry on the first visit. The second I should have been sent to hospital... If I followed their guidance any further, I could have lost toes/feet. After hospital admission, I was sensitive to the medication so rang the GP to change it. They advised that technically I don't need medication anymore as I have had a course. Without even seeing me. But I did. That was my treatment plan from my discharge from hospital. This surgery completely exasperate medical conditions unnecessarily. It's almost like doctors don't care anymore.

My recent experience using the messaging service online was excellent. A very effective way of getting help and advice about a recent medical concern, in the same way I would do if booking an appointment. As I felt my medical problem did not require a face-face appointment and more so that I needed some advice in how to deal with the issue myself. The care and response from Dr Wilshere was nothing short of excellent and he really took the time to help me with clear and concise advice, additionally preparing a prescription. My medical problem is now alleviated!

This surgery has been nothing short of excellent over the years to both myself and my family members. Thank you so much to all the staff for all the hard work, support and care. It is greatly appreciated!

I booked in my daughters 3 year immunidations with reception as i was aware they are due them at 3 years.
Baring in mind the receptionist asked for my daughters DOB. Turned up today aftrr taking a day off work to be told sorry your daughtrr is a month early and we cannot administer the injections today and you will need to make another appt for a months time.
This is unnacceptable for a GP practise

My job means that I would struggle to make an on the day appointment to see the GP. The messaging service has not only been a really effective way of communicating with GPs at the surgery about a health concern, but the response has been as careful and care filled as I would get if I was in person.

I can’t rate this practice high enough in general, but I have been particularly appreciative of the extra mile 2 of the partners have gone over the last couple of weeks.

High praise is well deserved.

At over 30 weeks pregnant, I developed a persistent and irritating cough that worsened when lying down. With no other symptoms, I made an appointment at Quayside Medical Practice for medical advice. The practitioner (not a doctor) diagnosed it as reflux and prescribed Gaviscon. Unfortunately, there were no available appointments with a doctor either that day or for several weeks.

However, after several days of taking the medication, my cough worsened to the point where I couldn’t sleep or eat. My throat became increasingly painful, and the cough became uncontrollable.

I returned to the clinic and was seen by the same practitioner, as there were still no appointments with a doctor. During this appointment, I was in tears, explaining how difficult it was to manage daily life due to the constant coughing and pain. The practitioner advised me to stay strong and continue taking the Gaviscon and painkillers. Despite this, my condition continued to deteriorate.

Eventually, the pain in my throat and lungs, along with the uncontrollable cough, became unbearable. I went to A&E, where an X-ray revealed a chest infection, and I was prescribed antibiotics. Despite completing the first course of antibiotics, my symptoms worsened, with severe pain around my lung and ongoing coughing. I had to return to A&E for further treatment, where I was given a higher dose of antibiotics and morphine for the intense pain (as other painkillers were ineffective), which was caused by a rib fracture from the persistent coughing. After completing the second course of antibiotics, my symptoms finally began to improve.

Looking back, I feel that my concerns were not properly addressed by the practitioner at Quayside Medical Practice. Despite being heavily pregnant, I was not seen by a GP, and my symptoms were dismissed, leading to significant delays in receiving the proper treatment. This experience has taught me the importance of seeking care at A&E for serious symptoms, rather than relying solely on the advice of a clinic. The entire ordeal was traumatic, disrupted my family routine, and led to a prolonged recovery.

This practice is absolutely superb. During a time of bereavement they have gone out of their way to help me and it's so appreciated. Using the online service is fast and efficient as are the receptionists and the doctors don't rush with their patients, so for me personally, I've got nothing but praise and thanks for Quayside Medical Practice, during one of the hardest times in my life, they're being utterly professional.........5 stars from me

The hours on their phone system aren't even correct, trying to call the secretaries about a referral I've been waiting months for and they don't answer the phone, I would ring where I was referred to but had no confirmation after they sent a text because they're too scared to pick up a telephone and speak to you.

Can't sit on hold all day while I'm at work. Terrible service ran by people who don't care. When they do bother to answer the phone they act like they're doing you a favour.

If an actual business ran themselves in the same way they'd be out of business within 6 months. Shambles.
