I’m so grateful to have come across Raham Project. It’s nice knowing there are groups who cater to everyone but in particular ethnic minorities. I came across them last year via a focus group and have been to a few of their events since. I always look forward to their next projects. They truly are amazing!

I first came across the Raham Project through one of my WhatsApp groups. I was pregnant at that time so it was great timing because I could attend their coffee mornings and other events.

I have done coffee mornings in multiple venues of theirs (Gladstone and East Child and Family Centre) and also one in Central Park.

I love the community, the volunteers are amazing people going above and beyond to make you feel welcome as well as to provide any help and resources you may need (I have met Ruweida, Maysoon and Katrina). I like the variety of activities they have on offer (coffee mornings on multiple days of the week across different venues, walks in Central Park, Lunch Club and also specialised and one off courses like antenatal courses, and currently one on cooking different cuisine and an upcoming one on wellness etc).

I look forward to taking part in more of their activities and also volunteering myself once I have some time off from the baby!

Raham project is an amazing service out there to help all ethnicity.
Am a second time mom, had attended antenatal classes in June with raham project where Faiza and her team put in so much effort to create these classes which gave me a clear picture of what labor is, and how to control it, when is the right time to go to the hospital. Previously during my first pregnancy I didn't have any clue what labor was and ended up have c-section.
But this time with help from Faiza n liz's I was able to mange my pain (didn't feel a need to epidural) and baby was born normal (vaginally)

I would highly recommend raham project for their service

The Raham Project came to visit us at The University of East Anglian today to provide myself and other student midwives with a presentation about what help and support they can provide to the ethnic communities across the UK. Absolutely amazing presentation, relatable to service users, health care professionals and students! Highly recommend people reaching out and welcoming The Raham Project to everyone both personally and professionally!

I first came across the Raham Project on Facebook in the Peterborough Womens Association group. Who they are and what they do as a support network for ethnic minority mothers intrigued me so I followed them on FB. I then saw they had a support group for mums which is a really close group of supportive mothers/mothers to be.
I’ve also attended an event which Raham Project attended and it was really lovely to put faces to names I knew of like Lisa Marie and Faiza. Both are lovely ladies and certainly know their stuff!
The Raham Project share resources about pregnancy, labour and post partum. They can also signpost women for extra support if need be.
Thank you for all you are doing for mothers and mothers to be 😊

The Raham Project is an outstanding example of cultural safety in action. The team came and delivered a teaching session with some second year student midwives at UEA, and it was so inspiring. Faiza and Lisa-Marie taught with such enthusiasm and used a range of interactive methods.

I was trying to get in touch with the hospital for one of their postnatal services. I filled out the relevant form, but they never got in touch with me, so I sent Raham Project and email to see if they could help.
The did their magic and I was set up with a call.
Raham Project is always helping people in the community when they need it.
They have many different community events available; monthly lunch, monthly walk in the park, annual picnic, zoom meetings, and a private Facebook support group with midwives, doulas and volunteers to support Mums when needed.
There is also their public information page on Facebook and an Instagram account that has amazing short and sweet information regrading pregnancy and birth.
