Our son passed away at Rainbows aged 21 and despite the trauma we have some very happy memories of the time he spent there. The staff were absolutely fantastic and he enjoyed spending time with them and his friends and family. There was a wide range of activities to choose, from just chilling in the lounge for older children and young adults to swimming in the purpose built pool. We were able to ensure that a family member always slept in the room with him and we also had a small flat at our disposal too. Visitors were always welcome and the experience was very much a safe home from home. We would have struggled if we'd tried to manage in our own home and Rainbows soaked up the day to day pressure of life giving us quality time with our son. We cannot praise the organisation and staff enough and if you are in a similar situation to us you can be certain that you will be in safe, considerate, caring hands. If you are looking for a charity to support be certain that your donations will be used to make a real difference to young people and families in difficult or desperate situations.

Rainbows has been a great support with amazing staff who were very caring to my sibling before she passed away.

How do I put into words the appreciation I feel for Rainbows. I feel ashamed that until we needed them I didn't know they existed. Rainbows took us in after our son Gabriel 10 months old passed away. We stayed with them until he could be moved to the funeral home. The care and love we received was unbelievable any time day or night there was a friendly face, sympathetic ear and at times a much needed hug. The safe and loving space that has been created made our darkest week easier to deal with. I cannot praise the team enough the work they do everyday it makes a real difference to people's life.

I would like to thank everyone at rainbows for there care and support of my son and his partner as they started to greave for Gabriel there son. They had such a traumatic few day before there son our grandson passed. I can't praise you all enough you are very special people. It not only helped them but us also as mum and dad to know they were being cared for so well. It gave us a few days to prepare for the road ahead. God bless you all.Rainbows Hospice is a fantastic place run by fantastic people.

So amazing the staff are the nicest people on this planet, the food is 5 star . The whole family get to enjoy and parents relax. The hydro pool and soft play, music room, multisensory room out side play Area is excellent. Wow just wow

Absolutely Amazing Charity. My own son had the use if this amazing Hospice. They gave us extra special time together. In a loving warm and Angelic atmosphere. I know I wouldn't have coped without them. They looked after my son to the highest of standards and with love, warmth, understanding and true friendship. Even after my son passed away. I will forever be eternally grateful to all whom work there and the people who donate money to keep them going. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥

Staff are realy helpful & caring , not only to those who are vulnerable but their families too. From what I have experienced regularly when dropping at patient off for respite care. The paitent is always happy when we pick him up .Well ace facilities too. Its a credit to the community

These guys deserve all of the love and funding in the world. They do an amazing job caring for some unlucky children and providing much needed respite to their loving parents. The staff are so caring and the facilities second to none. Couldn't support a better charity if you tried.
