Asked for a guy working to check the size of a dress in the window for me he told me small, price tag says small, so I bought it - I get home and it’s an xxs so I take it back (been out for 10 minutes at most), they tell me they can’t refund it and give me a bit of lined paper of credit for what I paid and point to their refund policy, I understand it if someone regrets something or it doesn’t fit but if they’ve literally told me it’s a different size to what it is and I bring it instantly back - I think that’s kinda bs/scammy that they didn’t just refund me - I’m a student, I thought I was doing something nice by buying from a charity shop but I don’t have £7 to throw away like that 🙁
