Only gave 3 stars not that it wasn't a nice place to visit it's just at the end of my visit i suffered a little anxiety attack due to it been a small space and there was a lot of people there. Let's put it this way I wouldn't be visiting on a regular basis.

How to describe a place such as 'The Ridge' well you really have to live there to know what it is like, like most estate's me think's and as good as the folks who live there, some love the place others hate it, compared to some estates I know, it is a very nice place, you take it as you find it, some lovely walks around there on the edge of the country with woods all around, shops have changed over the years but what doesn't, it's not a place I would want to live but thats not to discredit the 'Ridge', simply not where I would live, there are a few worse places In Lancaster and going by them it really is a nice place as a visitor for me, but I do know some who really love the place and have lived there most of their lives. Lacaster itself is a lovely place especially to visit with lots to go and see, love the river area, 'But' seriously if visiting by car, please know in advance it is all one way around the city and can be an absolute nightmare, some good hotels there been in most of them and the motorway is very close by, if your visiting enjoy yourself, see the sights there's plenty of them and your close to Morcambe too, enjoy !! 🙂
