Of all the years of coming to Cornwall thankfully we have never seen the lifeboat crew go out. It is spectacular to see it in action when it does. A worthwhile cause to support and nice to look around inside and look at the history of the station.

Fantastic shop lots of stock of first rate merchandise.

Sennen is a true gem. Skip lands end and spend some time here instead! There are some cool art galleries in a grade 2 listed capstan building near the parking. The beach was nice with rock pools and sand and surfers. The folks who own the fish and chips shop are really friendly and the food is terrific. The pub is excellent as well had one the best pints ever!

6.5.23 we made a 999 call to report paddleboarders getting into difficulties under the Minack. Expertly rescued not long after our call by the Sennen crew, who along with coastguard, were amazing. We came the next day and chatted to some of the crew.

You have our appreciation and thanks, knowing that there is someone there at the end of an intermittent phone line, deserves our total respect.

Set in a beautifullly picturesque cove this shipshape and squared away RNLI Station is why we feel safe when visiting our coastal venues. Professional and elite. Tier 1 emergency service personnel every last one of them.
