I am deeply touched and grateful for the care, support, and kindness I received from the A&E staff, especially the cardiologist and his team. After calling 111, I was advised to go to the hospital urgently. At first, I hesitated because of reports about how busy and overcrowded hospitals are, but since it was my heart, I knew I had to listen to the specialists.

From the moment I arrived, I was taken care of within five minutes and received a thorough check-up within 2.5 hours. The receptionists handled an overwhelming number of patients—many of whom should not have been there—with incredible kindness and professionalism. I was truly amazed by their patience and dedication.

It’s concerning to see the pressure that hospital staff face due to issues like drug-related incidents and violence among young people. It’s shocking how many individuals from outside the area misuse emergency services while struggling to pronounce Cornish addresses, yet they rely on this hospital due to their reckless behavior. This needs to stop—it’s placing an unnecessary strain on emergency departments, the police, and other essential services.

Despite these challenges, the hospital staff continue to provide outstanding care. I sincerely thank each and every one of you. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed, and I am truly grateful.

I did a support worker shift with a client all nurses and doctors couldn't do enough for both of us made us welcome and fast tracked him to the right department. I was offered refreshments through the night and assistance if i needed it. Thank you all.
Well done first class.

We were in Cornwall on holiday and i was playing with our 11 month old puppy he got over excited and ripped my ear ring out.
My left earlobe was hanging off so off the Truro Hospital.
My wife and i were under the same impression so much was ripped we thought they may cut it off.
I was seen quite quickly by a nice male nurse who put a temporary dressing on and asked to wait in the waiting room while he contacted the Max Fax Team.
About 20 mins later i was called by one of the team she examined me and explained she will stich my ear back together after around 20 stiches my ear was put back.
I really wish i could remember he name i do remember she was a young lady from Sudan i would like to Thank her very much for the good work she done on my ear.
Overall i was in the Hospital about 2.30 hours which i think is outstanding.
Thanks again and i do hope someone from the Hospital reads this and can get a BIG Thank you the her.

I recently had to be taken to a and e. They were fantastic, especially little bev.
However when I was onto a pre assessment ward, they were all lovely EXCEPT ONE! JAQUALINE VINCENT. disgusting behaviour, no care no empathy and constantly nasty. I had been attacked and head injury, eyes injury, rib, arm, turns out now hand and foot. My hair was full of blood, ears. And insisted I went home alone with a gown and a bus pass. Junior doctors said said I should stay for another 2 days. She over road that somehow saying she was in charge. And point blank refused to acknowledge that I could not even walk to the toilet alone. She point blank refused to let me see anyone. I realised she had done the same to my daughter who was sent home with massive dog bite wounds and remembered me complaining. I did not recognise her. She refused me pain relief or my blood pressure being taken. She went through my locker and found my urinate pants. Insisted they would have to do. A Friend who I don't even know where they lived ,came and paid a taxi. Being disabled , attacked, head stamped on etc etc. I had to accept strangers help and come home alone for the night with lots of injury. TOXIC is how I describe her. I reported her and hospital said they could not do anything as they don't anymore and she quickly moved departments. So I am naming and shaming her. I will be doing a claim against the hospital for neglect. Cannot believe it. Hope she gets sacked or retires!

Firstly this is a 10/10 review , apart from a 6 hour ambulance wait and another 4 hours in ambulance outside the A&E . My first contact was with Ash, the paramedic excellent . Once at the hospital my heart rate dropped to 28 , worrying . I was in resus ward . Then CCU and then ICU wards . ALL staff were polite and efficient , well done staff . Food was good considering it was hospital food . Cardiologist Dr Chegger was good . Too many names to mention , but I felt safe .
Had a pacemaker fitted , went in Tuesday and out Saturday morning . I had bad visits previously but things seem to be better . Well done Treliske you deserve some positive reviews. Geoff

Absolutely horrific and no care at all. My grandmother needed an emergency surgery and they put her in a side room with no ventilation, access to bathroom or bed. Not even on a ward. We got kicked out of the hospital for wanting to know what's going on so she is just left in there. We left in tears and are unsure of what will happen. Do not go to this hospital. I repeat. Do not go to this hospital.

One of the windiest days of the year.
My husband came for an appointment today and had to get to the tower block for 1:20. We were lucky to find a car parking space near the maternity unit. We walked across the road and were stopped in our tracks by the most ferocious wind. We were unable to move and just clung to each other to try and stay upright.
Next thing we knew, gentle arms were holding us and kind voices telling us that they were going to help us.
Our ‘angels’ were 2 female paramedics and , although the wind stopped all 4 of us in our tracks at one point, we managed to get to the corner of the building where they got us into an ambulance and took us to the entrance of the Tower block. They then proceeded to walk with us to the eye unit where my husband had his appointment and checked him in.
I didn’t catch their names, but they were proper angels. If you’re reading this ladies, thank you so much🥰
