Wonderful place to have some quality wildlife watching, with many birds to see and get close to to observe. Quite when I visited during the day, with well kept paths and viewing areas. Recommended.

A very nice little reserve.
Easy street parking on the northern side. Northern area is mainly reeds, with the main action at the southern end with more open water and wading areas.
July probably isn't the best time to visit, but we still managed to see a good variety including Great and Little Egret, Shelduck with young, Cormarant, Lapwing, Oyster Catcher, Black Tailed Godwit
Very peaceful despite being so close to town.

Nice nature reserve near beach. In. A bit of a built up area of Weymouth. Nearby parking both free (roadside) and paid ( beachfront). Visited in November and saw a variety of wildlife/ birds on several small lakes here. Lacks hides to sit in. No refreshments or facilities at this reserve. Total walk time about 60- 90 min depending on what you see. Nearby beach area has facilities and a nice pub to make a day of it.

Lovely tranquil walk with do much nature around from Warnlers to Waders and more. It's the first time this summer that butterflies were plentyful and dragonflies hovering over lagoons. We only spent an hour here but definitely not long enough as we only saw a fraction of what is on offer here. Only draw back is the cost of parking which is not cheap.

We had a quick walk just before sunset, a fantastic place to visit and will be returning with more time, either before or after just have a gentle stroll into weymouth which ever way you can relax and enjoy the beauty of nature around you. In another month or so the blackberries will be in abundance so great to come and pick them with your children whilst enjoying the area around you. Well worth a visit.
