These classes have gained a bit of a cult following in and beyond Shrewsbury. Not only for Vic's knowledgeable and perceptive Pilates coaching, but also for the really inclusive and friendly community she’s built up around the classes - with different route options for runs and regular Pub-lates nights. I feel the benefits in my physical fitness and I generally leave the class feeling boosted.

I have just completed the last of 12 weekly one-to-one reformer classes with Vic and would like to help anyone considering taking a class with her in the future. I have over 10 years experience practicing mat pilates but wanted to return to the reformer to manage an ongoing back and shoulder problem.

Vic has a studio on the top floor of her home. It is a nice, quiet space to work in, always very clean and the equipment is new and well maintained.

She is a highly qualified and experienced instructor with a great style of teaching. She illicits just the right level of feedback and tailors the sessions to your needs. I found the level to be just right. In addition, Vic is definitely the kind of instructor that strives for perfection. You are never left in doubt about whether you are doing an exercise correctly. There is just the right amount of monitoring and communication to help you achieve ideal form.

I have seen excellent results over the last 3 months and have really enjoyed the sessions. I highly recommend Vic and would encourage anyone to invest in one to one reformer classes in her studio. Best of luck with your future plans Vic!

It's been six months since my first pilates class with Runlates and, having never tried pilates or stuck to much of an exercise routine at all, I was absolutely hooked after one class! The instructor, Vic, is knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what she does which is evident in her curated classes and thoroughly explained exercises. The exercises are manageable yet challenging enough that I see improvements in my form week after week. Thanks to the instructor and other students, the environment has been so welcoming and I've never felt nervous or intimidated entering a class. I highly recommend Runlates and am so grateful that I found it!

I highley recommend the Foundation Pilates class on Tuesday morning. Vic is an excellent instructor, really detailed instructions and explanations of which muscles or parts of the body each movement focuses on. I have got back and neck issues, which I have had for years (now arthritis) and always feel much better after I have been to the class. I definitely feel stronger now than when I started. My only regret is that I didn't start Pilates years ago. Really enjoy it and look forward to it every Tuesday as I know it is making a difference.

Vic gives great direction and variation in the Pilates class and the runs are always well planned, friendly and adapted to varying levels of fitness. I always feel much better for going and the Pilates always makes running feel easier and better for you, as you learn to improve body balance and core strength, coordination and posture.

Runlates is more than just a pilates class / running club; it's a supportive, encouraging and welcoming community. I've no doubt that my running ability has improved through the classes and I've appreciated Vic's gentle and encouraging style of teaching. The weekend socials have been amazing and a great introduction to trail / hill running. 100% would recommend!

Vic is a great Pilates instructor and also has a unique proposition if you like running as well as Pilates. Not only does she run specific ‘Runlates’ sessions, she also organises additional activities that are both fun and innovative. Definitely recommend.

Runlates is quite literally the one thing that has kept me running during and after marathon training. The pilates class always feels great for my strength and there are always new challenges from Vic, and the group make the run afterwards so enjoyable, I miss it if there's ever a week I can't make! It's perfect for anyone looking to start or continue their 'running journey' and you'll meet some great folk along the way. Thanks Vic!!!
