New to the area and needed a builder for a conservatory upgrade to a summer room with flat roof and lantern. Matt and Ben were great. Got the job done to a very high standard including electrics, plumbing and plastering. Matt worked on a Saturday to make use of a good weather window, both showed consideration for our property, pride in their work completing the job to a high standard and on time.

What a find! Mat & his son were fantastic, in 3 weeks they demolished & rebuilt a garage for us. With lighting, mezzanine storage, screed flooring, internal separation & refitting the old Belfast sink. Great service & look forward to seeing them in the future for our next projects! 😃

Rural and County Builders were recently engaged to replace part of a damaged boundary wall at our development. The task comprised initial clearance of the rubble from the damaged cobble and brick wall and replacing it with a gravel board and concrete post fence. The work was completed within the allotted time and to an excellent standard. From the outset we were impressed with an efficient operation as the workforce and required equipment were assembled to enable the works to begin on schedule. The site was left clean and tidy each day and tools, equipment and skip were similarly removed immediately on completion.

Matt and his team have done an excellent job for us. Suitably impressed by his work, we have now requested him to quote for further work we have outstanding. Having seen the high standard of workmanship and work ethic on a nearby property, Mat seemed to be the ideal choice to help us with our self-build project. Demolition to completion of groundworks was achieved in 4 weeks, ahead of schedule and with a tight timescale. External blockwork was also completed to a high standard.

Rural and County Builders last week completed the re-pointing of the steps to the front entrance to Borrage Hall and the surrounding brickwork. They completed the work over a period of three days during which they pressure-washed paving slabs, ground out the old pointing and re-pointed the paving slabs and surrounding brickwork using a fast-drying cement. We found their work to be very efficient, well-organised and well-executed. The team works efficiently and tidily and speedily and is careful to leave the site clean and tidy. They also made a point of checking in with us when the work was done to ensure we were satisfied. They have previously also replaced a significant piece of fencing and concrete posts in a boundary wall which was also carried out speedily and efficiently. We would not hesitate to recommend Matt and his team for this kind of work and welcome them as an “approved contractor” for our Estate for the future.

We had some cracks at the top of three large stone arches and so asked Mat to have a look. He arrived and gave us a plan for the repairs and a price. The work was done very efficiently and, once completed, it looked so much better and so much more secure. Very impressed and would use Mat again.

We used Rural & County builders to decorate a bedroom, this included taking down the cracked ceiling and reboarding/ plastering. Mat and his team were quick to get on with the job, professional and very tidy. Mat also fixed a problem with our roof while he was here no extra cost, a job for which we had previously had an eye watering estimate from another contractor.
