Most awful place I’ve ever been the rooms are filthy and mattresses are stained and so are the pillows and duvets. In the room we were staying in there was black mould growing in the corners and the water tasted very strange. People are ok and but food is awful. Didn’t sleep on those very uncomfortable beds. Don’t send your kids here if you want them to enjoy themselves. Will never be coming back.

Ignore post about beds. Ridiculous - kids don’t come here for beds. My 11 year old had an amazing time. Great food, hospitable helpers, fun activities. My child loved it and would recommend to anyone.

We used the private hire facilities on a family visit. 11 of us stayed the night in this beautiful building in secluded setting. It functions as an education centre most of the year with the private hire facilities separate - a 60th birthday party was being set up as we were leaving and we were informed that it is also used for conferences. The bedrooms were clean and perfectly fine for us, I'd describe them as 'Youth Hostel', great for what we wanted and the price was excellent. THE EVENING MEAL WAS AWESOME. We learnt that three generations of one family work in the kitchen and they really know their stuff - one of our party was vegan and it was all so good. we brought our own alcoholic drinks. After, we used a private lounge to socialise. The person who made the booking said they heard about it through word of mouth and just contacted the office number on the website. Highly recommended.

I went last January and I'm going back on the 23rd. Can't wait. I enjoyed it so much the 1st time. I'd give it a 10/10 if I could.
Such a great place to be. The staff are amazing and so kind and supportive. Me and my friends loved it.

I Recently Attended St Cassian's Centre With My Son's Primary School.
I Wasn't Sure What I Expected From A Religious Retreat, But I Was Most Definitely Surprised By How Rewarding It Actually Was.
With A Perfect Mix Of Religion, Activities And Play The Kids From The School Absolutely Loved It.
The Young Team On The Kintbury Experience Led By Jet, Where A Breath Of Fresh Air. They Inspired The Kids, Encouraged Them To Think And Created Some Awesome Activities.
It Was So Nice For A Group Of Young Children To Have Time Together And Actually Learn About Themselves And Each Other.
I Would Highly Recommend St Cassians To Any Other School Or Family Looking For A Relaxing Retreat Which While Religious And Spiritual Doesn't Push It On You Or Become Overbearing.
Out Kids Didn't Want To Leave And Nor Did I. It Was Some Of The Most Rewarding Days I Have Spent And Left Feeling A Better Person And Dare I Say, A Little More Improved In My Faith.
Not Many Activities Or People I Know, Have Managed To Get Me Singing And Dancing To Grace After Eating Or Before Mass.
