I lived there for a few years in my mid teens . The help and support I received was unrivalled. I certainly remember angie Whitehead who loved me and saw my interest in music. Went out of her way to get her drummer husband kev to take me to his rehearsal and jam . I am now a professional musician thanks to those guys. Dave who worked there also gave me his dead brothers guitar . The care they gave was genuine and the love they showed to all us street losers was effective . I went to visit in my 30s and nobody was there . If anyone knows a link for angie or dave I would love to get in contact to show my gratitude . Looking for years

This place without exaggeration saved my life! I simply would have died a sad tragic lonely death if it had not been for this organisation, brilliant staff absolutely fantastic support , it’s 5 years since I was a resident at Merrick house and I now have my own place and peace of mind I still get ongoing support from the staff here when required as Micheal says “the doors never shut here” can’t thank these people enough I owe them everything I thank you all Tony 👍👍👍
