We had a lovely stay in Daisy Cottage with our grown children. Comfortable beds, nice clean furnishings and great hot tub. Ideally situated on the edge of the Moors. We found the hosts, Julie & Andy, to be friendly and pleasant.

Absolutely disgusting dirty cottage paid for a week with hot tub. Got there hot tub cold was told to wait 24 hours to heat up,couldn't wait that long had to vacate property because when I mention about the problem to owner he got very aggressive not professional at all and told me to leave which I couldn't get away quick enough. I never even staid 24 hours he refused to refund any money to me . The French doors of the cottage wouldn't close properly was not safe at all and could clearly see mice or rats had nibbled the corners of door. In the morning slug slim all over carpet have never staid in such disgusting dirty place with such foul awful host.

Absolutely dirty disgusting place cottages filthy and very tiered looking. Owner aggressive when pointed out faults. Hottub cold and dirty totally overpriced awful place had to leave after 20 hours booked for week too dirty awful accommodation rat or mice infested and when asked for refund owner very aggressive awful host very frightening.

My husband and and son stayed at poppy cottage Monday to Friday it was absolutely stunning! They hosts were fantastic and extremely friendly, I would 100% recommend this place to everyone. I’m gutted we missed the Thai banquet tonight but unfortunately we couldn’t stay an extra night due other commitments. There’s so much to do round about aswell so we were never bored . Will definitely be back soon . Thanks so much Lynsey Barry and Finn x

We had a great few days at Sands Farm, we stayed in Jasmine cottage. Everything was provided, nice and warm, centrally heated. The hot tub was a good addition.

The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet location, with stunning views. It’s easy to see why it’s well-reviewed by summer visitors. Autumn/Winter, however, reveals a different side.

The heating struggled to keep up with the cold, and the shower had a firm cap on how warm it could get. Adding wood to the fire stove came at an extra cost, which felt more like a budget strategy than a service. The kitchen and sofa blankets could have used a bit more attention, especially in a rental at this price.

We were surprised by the host’s response to feedback—being labeled drama queens isn’t exactly professional. Guests pay for comfort, not an experience reminiscent of cost-cutting. It shouldn’t feel like a business model designed to collect little extras at every turn.

In short, the view was great, but we left feeling like we paid more than we should have—especially for what we got.

Stayed in jasmine cottage with our friends and our dog , the cottage was lovely had everything we needed and the hot tub just a perfect way to relax we all lead such busy lives and just wanted to chill. We did laugh how none of the glasses and crockery matched not sure if this is on purpose or ment to be. The location of the cottages is fabulous beautiful villages near by with fabulous pubs and ice cream parlour and not too far to Whitby Scarborough and Bridlington. Would not hesitate to return.

Beautiful cottage, it has everything you need. Comfortable bed nice and clean. Scenic views. Julie the host was lovely. Overall perfect place would 100% recommend. Thank you for the stay.
