We love visiting here. The history is fascinating and the staff so knowledgeable and friendly. We have been to a few of the history themed mornings for children like the Tudors and Victorians and learnt much from them as well as making some wonderful things to bring home. We also enjoy the upstairs classroom and the old toys. Highly recommended a visit here.

A beautiful old house with some original features. Look for the graffiti on the fireplace. You will be amazed at the dates of them. The gardens are so peaceful to sit in and take in the aroma of the herbs.

What a gem tucked away yet close to the quayside. Amazing architecture and the old school room took me back to my infant school with its wooden lift up lid desk and blackboard at the front.
Beautiful sunken courtyard gardens. Definitely worth a visit.

Went here with my daughters school for a victorian themed day. The staff are very helpful and when out of character very friendly. In character they are superb. The facilities are good, and it is a great place to aid the education of pupils.
