Alice gave me advice and support when I challenged a fixed term exclusion for my autistic son. She reviewed my written representation and her feedback and suggestions gave me the confidence to know that I had a robust document to present to the Governors. Alice was an invaluable support to me at the Governor review meeting. Her legal knowledge of SEND and her professional expertise in representing my son made the process much less stressful than it would have been without her presence. I would recommend Alice to anyone needing help with the complexities of SEND and wouldn't hesitate to use her again in the future.

Having used SEND Advocacy to support us through our sons tribunal I can honestly say Alice is fantastic.
We were feeling out of our depth and burnt out from the process of enabling our son to access and education. Alice stepped in and made everything so easy.
Alice has a remarkable gift for getting to the point whilst ensuring we were informed and understanding of everything that was happening.

Alice is an absolute marvel. She has helped us so much, from the draft amendments stage right up to securing everything we wanted at tribunal. She balances her extensive legal knowledge with kindness and empathy and she really cares about the child in the middle of it all. At tribunal she was streets ahead both of the tribunal judge and the LA judge, with both of them eating out of the palm of her hand. We cannot recommend Alice enough she is a very rare commodity, outstanding in every way!

I couldn’t recommend SEND Advocacy enough to anyone having any issues with navigating the EHCP process. Alice is brilliant, she’s incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and knows exactly what to expect and how to respond when trying to work with the LA. Because of her, we managed to get my son into an appropriate specialist school with all provision met before going to tribunal. I’m certain I couldn’t have got to this point with out her. She is so reassuring and communicates complicated information in a clear and calm way, which takes away so much stress and uncertainty. Thank you so much for everything you did to help us Alice.

Would highly recommend SEND Advocacy for anyone struggling with their Local Authority to get their child's needs met. Alice helped secure a school place in the neighbouring LA when all the schools were full and also helped ensure all the provisions our son needed were agreed and written into his EHCP. The LA agreed before the tribunal date and so that was avoided too! I couldn't have done it without her.. Alice really kept me sane and took so much of the stress away. Thankyou so much Alice!!

I contacted Alice to help me when the local authority refused to issue my son with an EHCP.

I was a bit worried to ask for help as I am not very good at talking with new people, but Alice has the most brilliant way of making people feel calm and making you feel like she has, “got this”.

She explained everything to me in a very clear way and was very patient and understating with my very many questions.

I throughout recommend SEND Advocacy. Just knowing I had someone in my corner made me feel so much more confident and less anxious about the whole thing.

Alice is a former barrister who is extremely knowledgeable about SEND law. I needed advice on an unusual point of law and she guided me to the right answer straightaway. She is also compassionate: her experience as a SEND mum who has advocated on behalf of her child means she really understands how tough it can be to take on the local authority. Highly recommended.
