A good little shop, the lady that runs the shop (though I haven’t seen her for a few weeks, hope she is okay!) is really helpful and seems to notice what I like/don’t like. There’s been a couple of occasions where she’s pulled stuff out to show me and I’ve really appreciated that, makes you feel noticed! The shops always laid out very well and is clean and tidy. The only minor thing I would say is the designer rail can sometimes be a little bit on the pricier end, but that doesn’t seem to uncommon nowadays.

A great shop, well stocked with plenty of choice. The lady that runs it is lovely too and went above and beyond to help me when left my coat in the shop. I went back to claim it but it was shut so I posted a note through the door, sure I'd not get it back as we were on holiday and returning home that afternoon. However she called me outside her working hours and waited a considerable time for me to find my way back to the shop, even though they were closed.

She was very friendly and even made a recommendation that we go to Knaresborough on our way home, which did and we loved it. Thank you so much 🙂

Visited this shop with my child. The shop assistant approached us after we had been looking at the toys for about ten minutes to ask if we were 'going to buy something'. I explained we hadn't decided yet, and she said she was struggling with my English. (I think she was Eastern European but I do think she understood). I rephrased by saying 'I don't know if we will buy this toy yet'. So she said she wanted to take it off my child and put it on the shelf. There was nobody else in the shop so this was not in case anyone else wanted to have a look.

Natalie the shop assistant is fantastic (although my bank balance would disagree).
Extremely polite and helpful, really going above and beyond, she is an assett to this shop and the charity it supports.
Thanks Natalie! 😃

Absolutely disgusting service at this store. Was left completely embarrassed when one of your team members called me out for not wearing a mask in front of other customers when I'm exempt from wearing one due to health conditions. I showed my exemption form and she denied this as valid proof even though it is explained on the government guidelines on the government website that this is all that is needed to be used. She even went out of her way to Google the exemption form on her own mobile device on the shop floor to make out that i was lying about my illness. which im pretty sure is 1. Discriminatory 2. Against your work place expectations and guidelines. Her attitude and eye rolling was not what I would expect from somebody working for a charity shop that is contributing to a good cause. She was blonde and Eastern European.

I realise that this is a charity shop in affluent Harrogate but to charge £2.50 for bog standard paperback books is disgraceful.
