I bought a cloth from the shop in Sunderland and returned it because it didn't fit.
I was told I can come to shop anytime with my credit note and receipt. I visited later and was told the credit note/receipt can only be used within 2 weeks. This information was not conveyed to me the day I made the return.

Unprofessional workers, trying to kick me out of their store for a mistake they did, they were suppose to deliver an item to me but the called the wrong number and when I called them to ask why I haven’t received my package they said they tried to reach me and my Someone else picked, so they came and they didn’t see anyone then they took it back, I had to go back to sunderland from Gosfort to with my payment invoice that they gave me, and apparently on my invoice my number is correct but on their paper, the number is not, instead of the manager to calm down and fix the issue she was threatening to kick me out of the store for raising my voice because they refuse to take responsibility for their mistake, and they wanted us to pay for another delivery,

Before we sorted everything out and I left, she said I have being banned from the store and anything I come the will call the police on me

Very disappointing service from Shelter.
I arranged instore with the shop assistant to have a wall unit that I purchased, delivered to my home address which, is a 1st floor flat.
One of the delivery men who arrived was unhappy delivering the unit to an upstairs flat despite clear instructions and arrangements having been made instore and to which should not have been an issue.

Consequently, the same delivery man refused to remove another item that had also been "pre-arranged" for collection at the same time.
Presumably because he did not want have to carry another item downstairs, insinuaiting that the goods were of an unsatisfactory condition, which they were not !!
I feel that excuses were made towards myself from the delivery service man.

As a pensioner living on my own, I felt very upset about this matter and let down and therefore shall not be using Shelter again and would feel unable to recommend to other customers.

Do not understand the negativity of some of these reviews..... I have nothing but praise for the management and staff eveytime I have visited this store. They seem very well informed and are very friendly.
